If you’re visiting Walt Disney World to celebrate a special occasion or you simply want to treat yourself, there’s a host of amazing restaurants where you can indulge in a spot of fine dining…

1. Victoria & Albert’s

The award-winning Victoria & Albert’s is one of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World and is the perfect place to come if you want to experience true luxury. The mouth-watering menus consists of at least eight courses (depending on which one you choose), giving you the chance to sample delicious dishes like fresh halibut, roasted French quail, succulent pork belly and Japanese beef.

The menu changes regularly to incorporate the finest seasonal produce and you’ll find that ingredients from all over the world are used in your meal, like truffles from Italy, caviar from Russia and local Florida shrimp. If you’re looking for a refreshing drink to pair with your meal, there’s plenty to choose from with more than 700 different wines on offer!

This restaurant is extremely popular, so if you want to dine here during your holiday we’d suggest booking early. You can make reservations up to 180 days in advance.

2. California Grill

It’s not only the food that’s incredible here, but also the view. From the restaurant’s outdoor observation deck, you’ll get the perfect view of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the spectacular Happily Ever After Magic Kingdom firework show. You’ll be able to hear everything that happens as the music is piped into the restaurant through speakers. If you look closely, you’ll also be able to spot Epcot’s Spaceship Earth in the distance.

Like the name suggests, the California Grill specialises in the finest Californian cooking. Choose from artisanal pizzas, hand-rolled sushi, jumbo sea scallops, braised pork shank, goats cheese ravioli, oak-fired fillet of beef and much more. The dessert menu includes sweet dishes like warm chocolate cake, peppermint crème brûlée, tropical hazelnut mille-feuille and carrot cheesecake.

3. The Hollywood Brown Derby

This fine dining restaurant is an authentic replica of the famous Brown Derby restaurant in Los Angeles. The popular restaurant was a glamourous place to dine that is associated with the Golden Age of Hollywood. You’ll feel like you’re stepping back in time as you enter this unique restaurant. Look out for the caricatures of famous faces on the walls while you're there.

So, what’s on the menu? You can choose from port wine-glazed beef, Faroe Island salmon or the restaurant’s famous cobb salad, which follows the recipe created by the owner of the historic California Brown Derby- Bob Cobb.

When it comes to dessert, why choose one when you could have three? The Hollywood Brown Derby Trio lets you pick three mini desserts from a list of treats like banana-toffee cake, lemon cheesecake and cappuccino brûlée to name a few.

4. Tiffins

This fantastic restaurant is inspired by exploration and adventure and is fittingly located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. When you step inside, you’ll see that the travel theme spreads throughout the restaurant with a huge map of the globe, themed dining rooms and vibrant artwork. This romantic setting is perfect for a spot of fine dining.

Tiffins boasts an international menu with unique, colourful dishes that are all full of flavour. Starters include a selection of artisanal cheeses, spiced chickpea falafel and creamy mushroom soup. You can choose tamarind-braised short rib with a parsnip-potato puree, pan-seared Alaskan halibut or chicken and waffle with a maple chicken jus for your main course.

You’ll have to make a hard decision when it comes to dessert as everything is so tasty. If you just can’t choose, go for the Tiffins Trio which includes a miniature serving of the South American chocolate ganache, whipped cheesecake and guava mousse.

5. Cinderella’s Royal Table

If you’re looking for something magical, you really can’t beat this. Cinderella’s Royal Table offers the ultimate dining experience as you eat inside the iconic Cinderella Castle alongside Disney royalty. Take a seat in the banquet hall inside the beautiful medieval castle and get ready for a truly unforgettable experience where you’ll be able to meet some of your favourite Disney characters like Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Snow White and of course Cinderella.

You visit Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but dinner is our favourite as it just feels that little bit more special. The menu includes fresh fish of the day, beef tenderloin, pan-seared chicken and vegetable cous cous. For dessert you can enjoy tasty treats like lemon sorbet or our favourite- the Clock Strikes Twelve dessert which is a rich dark chocolate mousse with a refreshing raspberry sorbet.

This restaurant is a great choice for couples looking for something romantic or even families who want to make their holiday even more special- the little ones will love the chance to chat to the princesses!
