The Manatee, or 'Sea Cow', is one of the gentle giants of the sea and to swim with these delightful, slow-swimming creatures is a guaranteed unforgettable life experience! Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Crystal River, and swim and snorkel with Manatees. (Mask, snorkel, and fins are included, but PLEASE NOTE that wet suits are not included; they are available for hire if required). Following your quality time with the Manatees of the Crystal River you will be whisked away for a thrilling 45 minute airboat ride before enjoying a riverside buffet lunch. Afterwards, head to Homosassa State Park, renowned for its rare and endangered species including Manatees, bears, panthers, alligators and even a hippo. 

The Swim with Manatees tour operates on Tuesdays year round, plus there is an additional departure on Fridays between 1 April and 31 October. The tour picks up from various central locations in Orlando between 6.45am and 8.15am and the return time to Orlando is around 5.00pm.You will need to make your way to the nearest pick-up point which will be detailed on your ticket voucher. The service is designed to save you sitting on a coach that picks up from every hotel in Orlando. Transfer time to the Crystal River is around 2 hours.

Pleaase Note:
Due to the natural conditions of this experience, an encounter with the Manatees cannot be guaranteed. The peak viewing season is October to March. However due to the water temperature and abundance of food, there is a population of around 100-150 Manatees that live in the Crystal River year round.
