Ride-a-long Experience
Hold on tight as you are taken on a heart-pounding 3 laps of the course by a professional instructor at speeds exceeding 150MPH!
Rookie Experience
Get your foot on the gas as you hop into the driver’s seat! Feel the freedom of 8 laps around the speedway in a 358 cubic inch V-8 NASCAR-style race car roaring with 600 horsepower!
Kings Experience
Two power packed sessions await you, totalling an incredible 18 laps of the circuit. At the halfway point, you will be taken aside for some one-on-one instruction, before you have the chance to take that new found knowledge out onto the track and tear round a further 9 laps!
Experience of a lifetime
As the name suggests, this is an experience of a lifetime - You will be taught how to improve your driving line, handle the car and increase your speed even further as you tackle 30 massive heart-pounding laps!
Your experience will be in NASCAR-style stock racing cars. No prior experience is required, but you must have a valid UK driver’s license. Please note that each package offers something a little different and you do not have to start with the Rookie package.
Important information
- The cars do not have doors so participants must be able to climb through a 15” high by 30” wide window that sits 36” from the ground.
- If the track is wet, then you will be offered an alternative date
- Top speed varies according to student performance, track location and the limits set for each programme
- Participants must be at least 18 years old
- Your experience will be in NASCAR-style stock cars
- No prior racing experience is required, but you must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a standard transmission (UK style gearbox) to participate
- Each Richard Petty package is built to offer something a little different; you do not need to start at the Rookie experience
Departs: Daily. The track is situated within Walt Disney World Florida (please note that entry tickets for WDW are NOT required)
Start Times: Varies - Please advise am or pm when confirming a specific date.
Duration: Approx. 4-5 hours
Includes:
- Regulation drivers suit
- Helmet
- Ear plugs on request.
Exclusions:
- Transport - You will be required to make your own way to the circuit.
- However a free shuttle is available from the Transportation Center (TTC) at the Disney's Magic Kingdom
- Food and drink.
Dress Code/What to Bring:
- Socks
- Closed toe shoes
- Clothes that will be comfortable under the suit
FAQ
Can family and friends come along?
Absolutely! We have a special seating area set-up where family and friends can watch. They are welcome to bring video recorders and cameras.
