Our Guide to 2-Day Miami & Everglades Getaway
The ideal excursion for those wanting to experience Miami; experience its palm fringed beaches, striking Art-Deco architecture, fantastic shopping and don’t miss the chance to top up your tan on famous South Beach. After an early morning departure from Orlando, head to one of America's greatest natural wonders and the largest remaining swampland in the world, the Everglades. Here you can learn about the Seminole Indians who took refuge in the Everglades in the 1800s, watch a reptile handling show and then enjoy a thrilling airboat ride across the wondrous 'River of Grass' where you'll see alligators and turtles amongst other wildlife in this natural wetland habitat. The tour continues to Miami, made famous by numerous movies and music videos. Visit Bayside Marketplace where you will find a great selection of designer shops, boutiques and eateries. Then head to your overnight accommodation in the heart of the Art Deco District in South Beach. On day two you a free to explore Miami at your own pace or simply soak up the sun on South Beach. The excursion leaves Miami at around 4.00pm; returning to Orlando at around 8.00pm.
- Tour operates on Wednesdays.
- Duration: 2 Days/1 Night.
- Schedule: Between 6-7am. You will return to Orlando the following day at around 8.00pm.
- Includes: Roundtrip transportation from Orlando, airboat ride in the Everglades, visit to a Snake and Alligator Handling Show, visit to Miami's Bayside Shopping area, overnight accommodation in South Beach at the Catalina Hotel (or similar), just seconds from the bars, shops, restaurants and the beach itself.
Terms and Conditions
- Prices are based on a minimum of 2 persons travelling. Single passengers are welcome, but a single supplement of £65 is applicable. To book, please call our reservations team on 0845 678 1682.
- Room Occupancies – rooms accommodate up to four persons. Parties of 4 persons or less will be accommodated in one room. If there are more than 4 persons in your group you will be allocated 2 rooms. If you require an additional room for your party, a £65 per room supplement applies. Please call our reservation to book on 0845 678 1682 if you require an additional room.
- Baby’s 0-2 years are free of charge, but must sit on a parents’ lap. There is a small charge of $10-15 for a cot, which is payable to the hotel locally.
- The tour includes pick-up from central meeting points in the International Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Kissimmee and Walt Disney World areas.
