Our Guide to 2-Day Swim with Dolphins Florida Keys

This memorable 2-day getaway combines a memorable Dolphin Encounter at Dolphin Plus in Key Largo, a thrilling Everglades Airboat adventure and the chance to shop at Miami’s fashionable Bayside Shopping area. Round-trip transportation from Orlando and overnight accommodation in Key Largo are also included.

The swim with the dolphins programme takes place on either the first afternoon or the following morning and unlike other dolphin swim programmes that limit the dolphin interaction to a shallow water encounter, this dolphin swim experience takes in a fifteen foot deep natural seawater lagoon. The entire programme lasts around 2 hours and you are likely to experience foot pushes, dorsal tows, water fights, kisses and handshakes as well as a number of other behaviours. You will be assisted by am experienced dolphin trainer and all participants must wear a life vest.

Your second day starts with a thrilling airboat adventure in the Everglades. Whizz across the water in search of alligators and other Floridian natives and hold on to your hat for the 180 and 360 degree spins! After your airboat ride you will be taken to an alligator and snake handling show including the chance to hold an alligator and some snakes! Before returning to Orlando, visit Miami’s fashionable Bayside shopping area to visit the whole host of designer shops, boutiques and eateries.

• Duration: 2 Days/1 Night
• Schedule: 7am departure from Orlando. You will return to Orlando the Following day at around 8.00pm
• Includes: Roundtrip transportation from Orlando, entrance to the Dolphin Plus Facility in Key Largo, 2-hour Swim with Dolphin programme (swim ticket only), airboat ride in the Everglades, visit to a Snake and Alligator Handling Show, visit to Miami’s Bayside Shopping area, Overnight accommodation at the Holiday Inn Key Largo or similar.

PLEASE NOTE:
Swimmers must be 7 years old or above and children aged 7 to 12 years old doing the Dolphin Swim must be accompanied in the program by a participating parent or guardian.

Non-swim tickets are available and include all of the inclusions above except the Swim with Dolphins programme. The ticket does include entrance to the Dolphin Plus Facility in Key Largo.

Prices are based on a minimum of 2 persons travelling. Single passengers are welcome, but a single supplement of £57 is applicable.

Room Occupancies – rooms accommodate up to four persons. Parties of 4 persons or less will be accommodated in one room. If there are more than 4 persons in your group you will be allocated 2 rooms. Baby’s 0-2 years are free of charge, but must sit on a parents’ lap. There is a small charge of $10-15 for a cot, which is payable to the hotel locally.
