Our Guide to 2-Day Swim with Dolphins South Beach

Depart Orlando in the early morning and journey by coach to the Florida Everglades National Park, the largest remaining swampland in the world and home to a huge variety of wildlife. An airboat ride is the best way to explore this vast wilderness and accompanied by an experienced captain enjoy a thrilling ride across the ‘River of Grass’ in search of alligators, the Florida Panther and manatees. Afterwards get up close and personal at our Alligator and Snake handling show where you get the chance to learn, hold, feel, and get your pictures taken with these amazing animals.

Continue to Miami’s Bayside Shopping Complex for a bit of retail therapy. Situated on the Biscayne Bay, this complex offers specialty boutiques, name brand stores, restaurants on the water, and spectacular views. Afterwards, head to your hotel - situated in the heart of the Art Deco District in South Beach, the excellent location is just seconds away from restaurants, shops, museums, night clubs and the beach itself. Once you check into your hotel, you have the rest of the day and evening free to explore the area at leisure.

On day two you have the choice of a two-hour dolphin swim session in Key Largo or you can choose to stay and explore Miami Beach at your own leisure. During your ONE on ONE dolphin swim you get to experience a whole host of behaviours including foot pushes, dorsal tows, water fights, kisses and handshakes. Remember dolphin interaction is guaranteed on this unbelievable ONE on ONE swim and unlike other dolphin swim programmes that limit the interaction to shallow water encounter; this dolphin swim experience takes place in a natural ocean water lagoon that is around 15 feet deep.

If you choose to swim with the dolphins you still have the afternoon in Miami to top off that golden Florida tan on South Beach before leaving for Orlando at about 4.00pm.

• Tour operates on Wednesdays except 13 March and 4 December.
• Duration: 2 Days/1 Night 
• Schedule: Between 6-7am. You will return to Orlando the following day at around 8.00pm. 
• Includes: Roundtrip transportation from Orlando, airboat ride in the Everglades, visit to a Snake and Alligator Handling Show, visit to Miami's Bayside Shopping area, overnight accommodation in South Beach at the Catalina Hotel (or similar), just seconds from the bars, shops, restaurants and the beach itself, entrance to the Dolphin Plus Facility in Key Largo, 2-hour Swim with Dolphin programme (swim ticket only).

PLEASE NOTE:
Swimmers must be 7 years old or above and children aged 7 to 12 years old doing the Dolphin Swim must be accompanied in the program by a participating parent or guardian.

Non-swim tickets include all of the inclusions above except the Swim with Dolphins programme. The ticket does include entrance to the Dolphin Plus Facility in Key Largo. However, those not wanting to visit the dolphin facility can enjoy free time in Miami instead.

Room Occupancies – rooms accommodate up to four persons. Parties of 4 persons or less will be accommodated in one room. If there are more than 4 persons in your group you will be allocated 2 rooms. Baby’s 0-2 years are free of charge, but must sit on a parents’ lap. There is a small charge of $10-15 for a cot, which is payable to the hotel locally.

The tour includes pick-up from central meeting points in the International Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Kissimmee and Walt Disney World areas.

PLEASE NOTE: on 13 February, 20 March and 24 April this tour will not be staying at South Beach. Instead, the tour will stay in Key Largo at the Holiday Inn Key Largo or similar, so there will not be the chance to explore South Beach. All other inclusions remain the same.
