Our Guide to Kennedy Space Center Space Pass
The Kennedy Space Center Space Pass is not available in resort and can only be pre-purchased before you depart the UK. It offers the most comprehensive Kennedy Space Center experience as it includes all the elements of the Admission Badge including the Saturn V Center, the LC39 Observatory Gantry, the Astronaut Hall of Fame and the Rocket Garden with the chance to dine with a real-life astronaut and an exclusive tour to the more restricted areas of Kennedy Space Center.
- Dine with an Astronaut program - once-in-a-lifetime chance to have lunch with a real life astronaut. Hear about space adventures first-hand from someone who has experienced a launch and the wild ride into orbit.
- Guided tour: Discover KSC: Today & Tomorrow, a 2 hour tour offering access to areas otherwise open only to NASA personnel! The tour includes close-up views of the Space Shuttle Launch Pads, the Vehicle Assembly Building and the massive Crawler Transporters.
PLEASE NOTE: For 2012 departures, the KSC: Today & Tomorrow tour is being replaced with the new Kennedy Space Center Up-Close Tour. For the first time in a generation, visitors will get the rare chance to tour the Vehicle Assembly Building and see first hand where monstrous vehicles were assembled for launch as well as where the future is unfolding for continued missions into space. Public access to the Vehicle Assembly Building is anticipated to stop in mid 2013.
And don't worry if you do not get the chance to see everything in one day, your Space Pass includes a second days' entrance to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This second visit must be taken within 7 days of your first visit. You can only do the Dine with an Astronaut programme and the Discover KSC: Today & Tomorrow Tour (KSC Close-Up Tour for 2012 departures) once.
It is recommended that you book your Dine with an Astronaut and Discover KSC: Today and Tomorrow (KSC Close-Up Tour for 2012 departures) before you visit Kennedy Space Center as these elements can sell out at busier times of the year. You can either make a reservation once you are in Orlando by calling the number detailed on your voucher or Orlando Ticket Deals can do this for you before you leave the UK.
