See, hear and touch a world of amazing things as your senses literally discover a new world of experiences. From swimming with dolphins, snorkelling through colourful clouds of tropical fish and wading with friendly stingrays.

The dolphin swim is the centrepiece of your visit; here you'll spend 30 minutes, in groups of no more than 6-8, getting to know your dolphin through hugs, kisses and ultimately, a one-on-one swim together through the lagoon. Then, you have the rest of the day at your leisure to soak up the unique, indulgent atmosphere. Come face-to-face with sharks (safely housed behind glass partitions!) in the Tropical Reef. Wade with friendly stingrays and then discover the Explorer's Aviary, just beyond the towering waterfalls, where you can hand-feed tropical birds. Relax in the refreshing waters of the Resort Pool and float along the Wind-away River.

As a reservation only experience, which is limited to a capacity of about 1000 guests a day, it's a rare opportunity to set your own pace. Offered on an all-inclusive basis with breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks included nothing is going to tax you…

Do I have to reserve a date to visit Discovery Cove or is it possible to leave my Discovery Cove ticket open?
Discovery Cove is a reservations only experience and attendance is restricted to 1000 visitors per day. You must therefore book your visit date in advance to secure your places. Please see our availability calendar for available dates. Dates in green are available; dates in red are currently sold out.

Do I need to be an experienced swimmer to visit Discovery Cove?
You do not need to be a strong swimmer to enjoy Discovery Cove. Life vests are provided where needed and you do not need to go out of your depth.

Are there any age restrictions for Discovery Cove?
No, Discovery Cove welcomes guests of all ages, although you must be at least 6 years old to participate in the Dolphin Swim programme. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Infants 0-2 years enter free of charge and do not require a ticket.

How long is the Dolphin Swim programme?
The dolphin swim session comprises a thirty minute introduction with the trainers and a thirty minute session in the water (in groups of no more than 6-8 and 2 trainers) with the dolphins. This will be followed by a 30 minute debrief for any questions.

What time should I arrive at Discovery Cove?
Discovery Cove opens at 9.00am and closes at 5.30pm. You can check-in from 8.00am and it is recommended you arrive early so you can enjoy a full day at Discovery Cove. Dolphin swim times are allocated on arrival.

Can I use the SeaWorld®, Busch Gardens® or Aquatica portion of my Discovery Cove package before I visit Discovery Cove?
Yes, this part of your ticket can be used before you visit Discovery Cove and similarly after you have visited Discovery Cove.  This portion of the package is activated the first time you visit one of the parks.

• Discovery is a reservation only experience and you must choose the date you wish to visit at the time of booking.
• Children must be at least 6 years old to swim with the dolphins. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry to Discovery Cove.
• You must include at least one swim ticket on your booking.
• You will be issued with a Discovery Cove booking confirmation which you have to present upon arrival at Discovery Cove. Discovery Cove no-longer issue hard tickets
• Children between 6-12 years old participating in the dolphin swim experience must be accompanied by an adult who also is participating in the dolphin swim experience. There is no minimum adult to child ration, so one adult can accompany more than one child.

Discovery Cove would be my favourite park in Orlando and I would go again and again. One of the highlights for me was snorkelling in the tropical reef. You can swim with Sting rays and exotic fish in a salt water rockery pool, it is an amazing experience and probably one of the best parts of my holiday. The Dolphin swim should not be missed. It is such a special experience to be able to kiss, hug and swim with a dolphin.  The tropical bird aviary was great fun, they offer you free food to feed the birds and they will fly up and land on you to eat it. As there is a maximum of only 1000 people in the park per day you don’t feel crowded or rushed to do things, you can just relax and enjoy the day.
