• Jungala gives you the chance to come face-to-face with some of the world’s most endangered animals, Bengal tigers and orangutans, plus two signature rides and more.
• SheiKra®, it’s an experience unlike anything else in the world! North America’s first dive coaster takes you 200 feet up, then hurtles you 90 degrees straight down at speeds of up to 70 mph. There’s nothing above you but air and nothing below you but earth. 
• Rhino Rally®, it’s an off-road adventure that’s one wild ride. Hop on a Land Rover and race to the finish line over African terrain as you pass wildlife along the way. There’s a surprise around every turn - and a wild river finale.

• An area themed on ancient Egypt delves into the mysteries of this riveting ancient culture with attractions including Montu® - one of the world's largest inverted rollercoasters, a tour of King Tutankhamen's Tomb, and a fun archaeological sand dig for the children!
• Edge of Africa® quite simply offers the most intense safari experience available outside Africa! While trekking through a remote safari encampment, guests at Busch Gardens® will experience face-to-face encounters with amazing African animals such as lions, hyenas, hippos, giraffes and - gulp! - vultures.
  

Free Transportation from Orlando to Busch Gardens aboard the Busch Gardens Shuttle Express is included with all our Busch Garden Tickets. The service departs from SeaWorld Orlando and various locations in the International Drive and Kissimmee areas. Service may be subject to change.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Rides and Attractions

Jungala - Jungala gives you the chance to come face-to-face with some of the world’s most endangered animals, Bengal tigers and orangutans, plus two signature rides and more. The family climbing area, Tree Top Trails gives you the chance to observe the different layers of life within Jungala. Watch orangutans at rest or play from the tree top platforms then see Bengal tigers swimming in their plunge pools on the ground below. To add to the excitement, there’s Jungle Flyers a zip line experience, for the young adventurers, and The Wild Surge which will shoot you high above a towering waterfall. There’s nothing tame about it!

SheiKra®
It’s an experience unlike anything else in the world. North America's first dive coaster takes you 200 feet up, then hurtles you 90 degrees straight down at speeds of up to 70 mph. KaTonga®
Experience the Broadway-style extravaganza that leads you on a journey to the heart of Africa. This musical celebration of animal folklore tells of life in the jungle through enchanting fables, electrifying dance and puppetry.

Montu®
Experience one of the tallest and longest inverted coasters in the world, featuring loops, drops and speeds over 60 mph, all with your feet dangling freely below you! Minimum height requirement 54" (137cm).

Edge of Africa®
Edge of Africa offers the most intense safari experience outside Africa. While trekking through a remote safari encampment, you’ll discover lions, hippos, hyenas, meerkats, lemurs and giraffes. You’ll even come eye-to-eye with lions and hyenas in the Masai village.

Gwazi®This is the mammoth double wooden coaster, named after a fabled lion with a tiger's head.It’ll race you through almost 7,000 feet of track on one of the two intertwined coasters. Gwazi Tiger gives a slalom sensation and Gwazi Lion a seemingly continuous number of spirals. Minimum height requirement 48" (122cm).

Kumba®
Kumba is among the world’s largest and fastest roller coasters, plunging and spiralling you through hair-raising, gravity defying manoeuvres during its three-minute, 60 mph journey. Minimum height requirement 54" (137cm).

Rhino Rally®

Pirates 4-D
A swashbuckling 4-D comedy adventure perfect for the entire family. Starring Leslie Nielsen, Pirates 4-D combines the latest in 3-D special-effects technology with multi-sensory theatre effects to thrill guests of all ages.

Congo River Rapids®
Congo River Rapids will drench you with water during an exciting white water journey re-creating the treacherous elements of Africa’s Congo River. Minimum height requirement 42" (107cm).

Myombe Reserve®Explore the home of majestic western lowland gorillas and playful chimpanzees in this lush rain forest habitat.

Cheetah Chase®

This is the just for kids play area, featuring one of kind slides, a gentle waterfall, wonderful rides and even friendly dragons!

Reviews

This African themed park is a must for anyone who loves animals or rollercoaster’s. One of the main highlights of this park is the rollercoaster, Sheikra, where you can experience a 90 degree drop from 200 feet. Another must do in Busch Gardens is the Serengeti Tour this allows you to see African animals up close and also allows some interaction with the animals as you make your way around the Busch Gardens Serengeti plain.  The drive to Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay is just over an hour long, but well worth for it the attractions.
