Balloon Flights over Orlando

balloon flightsFly gently over lush landscapes and lakes, soaking in the golden sunrise for the ultimate in personal flying experiences!

Children under 11 fly FREE with every Adult ticket! (4-10yrs)

All passengers are encouraged to join in the inflation process as their balloon comes to life. We will fly for approximately one hour and your Pilot will point out all the spectacular sites of the area. After your flight we will celebrate with a traditional Champagne toast and head back for an all you can eat breakfast buffet. At breakfast, each passenger will be awarded a souvenir first flight certificate and a souvenir photograph

Where do the flights take place?

The flights are all in the Disney area. They can take place anywhere from Disney to Highway 192 and Highway 27, depending on wind direction.

Where do the flights start, and at what time?
You'll meet your pilot approximately one hour before sunrise. This can be anywhere from 5:30am to 6:30am depending on the time of year. We meet at the Ramada Orlando Celebration Resort and Convention Center, located on Highway 192. Please note that until 1st January 2009 the meeting point for this tour will be Best Western Lakeside located on HWY. 192, exactly 5 traffic lights west of the main entrance to Disney World.

If you do not have your own transport, hotel pick-ups can be arranged for $10 per person payable locally. Our program starts one hour before sunrise with a pre-flight briefing by one of our full time professional pilots. We then board our vehicles and head off to one of our 25 launch sites.  (Depending on the wind direction)

How long is the flight and what's included?
Most of the flights last about one hour. They can, however, be as short as 45 minutes or as long and one hour and 45 minutes. It all depends on the weather conditions on the day, and also the landing sites.

Once we have landed and the balloons are stored away we will have a traditional Champagne toast and head back for an all you can eat breakfast buffet. At breakfast, each passenger will be awarded a souvenir first flight certificate and a souvenir photograph.

Should I wear any warm clothing for the balloon trip?

As it is not any cooler in the balloon than it is on the ground, we would suggest just dressing for how the weather is on the day of your flight. Please try to avoid open-toed footwear.

What can I bring along with me?

By all means bring along your camera or camcorder to record your unforgettable journey!

How high does the balloon go?

We can go anywhere from the level of the treetops to several thousand feet up, depending on wind speed and direction.

How many people are in the balloon?

With the private chest ticket, there are a maximum of two passengers. On shared baskets we fly anywhere from 4 passengers to 12 passengers in each balloon.  The larger balloons have compartments in them for the comfort and safety of our passengers.

I suffer from motion sickness, so will I be affected by a balloon flight?

No. As the balloon moves gently with the wind, there is none of this sensation to concern you. It is genuinely possible to place a glass of water on a table in a balloon during flight, and not a drop will be spilled!
